Petra Shakti Petra Shakti is Kundalini Yoga instructor and the founder of the Forest.ink project, which works with responsible ecotourism.  Over the past 4 years, she has lived mainly in South and Central America. Following a call to share the golden light of Kundalini, Petra moved to Guatemala to become initiated as a teacher at the Golden Temple. Petra also travelled to India, studying all aspects of traditional hatha and tantric yoga at Satya Loka. During this time, she birthed her spiritual body of pure devotion.  She also studied the Moon course at the Metaphysical center Las Pirámides del Ka. Petra received great inspiration for her practice at the Guru Ram Dass Puri community in New Mexico, where Kundalini Yoga tradition currently has its widest base. She is also a practitioner of Vipassana, Hridaya and Transcendental meditation.

Petra is fascinated by in-depth work through the dynamics of the masculine and feminine principles that lead to an increased quality in our life and relationships. She participates in White Tantra festivals where these dynamics can be further explored. White Tantra practice provides an opportunity to change our understanding of sexuality and to perceive it as a natural part of our being. Petra is currently teaching at Pohled Pracoviště in Prague. She also organize series of workshop Snake Serenade, which is about discovering true identity through kundalini yoga and voice.

As a little girl, Petra was fascinated by the mudras and kriyas she saw in library books. She discovered yoga, meditation and dreamwork at a young age and began to cultivate a deeper awareness. Her grandmother was the village healer, which created a deep foundation of love and respect for the ancient rituals of indigenous cultures. She made a promise of freedom to herself and left her home at the age of 16, to visit foreign lands and study mystical practices. At the age of 26 she first visited the Ecuadorian Amazon where she entered into a deeper communion with Mother Earth. As a result, she founded the wildlife protection and reforestation NGO, Forest.Ink, which has continued success in conserving the rainforest.  Working with the ancient craft of tattooing, Petra inked her way through South East Asia, California, Hawaii, Latin America and other places. Marking her designs on the bodies of people she met, and achieving international acclaim for her magical tattoo art, she then turned her focus to her first love; yoga.

Deepen awareness with those ancient practices:

Kundalini yoga is a part of the tantric tradition. It was a secret for a long time, just for a high class, because systematic and pragmatic approach is needed. We have to proceed slowly sensibly and systematically with purification of body, the prana, the nadis and chakras.

Kundalini, in Yogic theory, is the primal energy located at the base of the spine. The Upanishads describe Kundalini as lying coiled up energy at the base of the spine, represented as either a Goddess or sleeping serpent waiting to be awakened. With the various practices of Yoga, we are preparing the physical and energetic bodies for the grace of Kundalini, the energy of the Divine Mother.

Kriya Yoga is a system of techniques to consciously move energy through the body. There is no believe system, just a path of action which produces results which are powerful, immediate, predictable, repeatable. The techniques work on all levels of persons life, strengthening the body, calming the emotions, enhancing the thought processes, leading to a balance that can open the door to spiritual awareness Kriya is the ancient tantric science of rotating consciousness through the astral pathways of the body to produce a profoundly altered state of consciousness.
Paramahansa Yogananda said: Kriya Yoga is an instrument through which human evolution can be quickened. Kriya Yoga, controlling the mind directly through the life force, is the easiest, most effective, and most scientific avenue of approach to the Infinite. The after effects of Kriya bring with them the utmost peace and bliss. The joy that comes with Kriya is greater than the joys of all pleasurable physical sensations put together. From that joy experienced in meditation I receive the rest of a thousand sleeps. Sleep becomes virtually unnecessary to the advanced Kriya Yogi. Self-realization is yoga or "oneness" with truth — the direct perception or experience of truth by the all-knowing intuitive faculty of the soul.

Is based on a traditional approach to Hatha Yoga. It is practiced as a combination of Yang and Yin styles of Yoga. Sequences of asanas that cultivates the awareness of chakras. We train to connect with our witness consciousness, so we can observe all that arises in body, energy and mind in an open detached way. Works with the subtle energies within the body to enhance physical wellbeing. Exploration of body energies and their connection to the universe, the purpose of life and the connection to others can be understood in a new dimension

Pranayama is a set of ancient yogic breathing techniques. By reconnecting with breath you remember the neutrality and openness. Like this you can achieve goals and dreams with ease, grace and flow. Whether you wish to experience higher consciousness, great psychic sensitivity, better health or full body orgasm, the key is expansion of breath. Pranayama is cleansing and resetting the nervous system and it is the fastest detox. With pranayama we have the ability to shake the things up. To move the dense layers, so we tap into natural blissful vibration a lot quicker. It help us to leave the mechanical constructions of the mind we identify with.
